The Seventh-day Adventist Church in Trinidad & Tobago and the wider Christian community across the Caribbean pause to reflect and give thanks for the remarkable life and ministry of Kay Alleyne-Meloney, gospel singer/songwriter, a woman of grace, spiritual conviction and dedicated service to Gospel ministry.

From the earliest stages of her journey, Kay embodied the heart of a servant-leader. Her ministry was not confined to the pulpit, platform or stage; it was lived daily in how she uplifted and inspired all through her life and ministry.

Her messages were always more than sermons; they were invitations to transformation. In its tribute, the University of the Southern Caribbean stated, 'She was a powerhouse vocalist whose voice, spirit, and unwavering dedication have left an indelible mark on the University and Church family. Her passion inspired countless hearts, and her legacy will continue to sing through the lives she touched.'

While her professional accomplishments are worthy of celebration, those who knew Kay personally recall her empathy, her humour, and her genuine interest in others. Her legacy is not built merely on events or initiatives but on relationships and lives forever changed by her presence.

Though her earthly chapter has closed, her influence continues. The seeds she planted, by God's Grace, will bear fruit for generations to come. May her legacy live on in the mission she championed, the people she empowered, and the faith she lived so fully. “Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints.” – Psalm 116:15
