ADRA Trinidad Coordinators' Workshop

Given the frequency and severity of hurricanes, earthquakes and destructive fires in the most recent times, ADRA Trinidad sees it necessary to host its final Coordinators' Workshop for 2017. This workshop will be held on Sunday October 22, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., at the Mt. D’Or SDA
Church, Industry Lane, Champ Fleur. There is no cost to the participants except for lunch which will be at a cost $20 (fruits and nuts). These workshops are not only targeted towards ADRA Coordinators and Volunteers but for all interested persons. For further information and to register please call ADRA at 662-6122/7024 between the hours of 9:00 a.m and 3:00p.m. Monday to Thursday. Registration closes on Wednesday October 17, 2017.

Prayer Ministries Conference 2017

Prayer Ministries will be conducting its Annual Prayer Conference at Camp Balandra from October 27 to 29, 2017. A special feature during the Conference will be “The Youth and his/her Prayer Life”. Please note that the registration fee per delegate is Four Hundred Dollars ($400.00). However,delegates requiring transportation to and from Balandra, would need to register with an additional cost of seventy-five dollars ($75.00) per person. Attendees are required to provide their own bedding.

We are appealing to each church to select one youth to attend. ALL Prayer Intercessors interested in attending are encouraged to pay their own registration fee We are advising that ALL PAYMENTS be made at the SCC Treasury Department no later than Friday October 20, 2017. This will assist in the preparation for housing and catering.

Please note that accommodation is not guaranteed for late registration. Thank you and looking forward to seeing you for this uplifting spiritual experience.

We are pleased to let you know that the second annual ‘boots on the ground’ will take place on Sabbath, November 18, 2017. The theme: "authenticating manhood – building men for Christ", will focus on the reality of the effects of father-absenteeism and the frightening and awesome responsibility of fatherhood. The programme is designed to help guide men through their confusion, loneliness,  pain;  and to resist  the urge  to gravitate to drugs,  pornography and other negative activities which lead to real problems in  our society. Our desire is to touch hearts with a view towards an improved nation.  

This year’s programme will begin with a Prayer conference at the Longdenville Seventh-day Adventist church from 9:00 a.M. and culminate with a National march and rally at 3:30 p.M., starting at the Longdenville Church. Women’s Ministries Workshop

The Women’s Ministries Department will be hosting our annual Women’s Ministries Workshop on Sunday November 26, 2017, at the Good News Chapel, Deane Street, St. Augustine. The theme is entitled “Emotional Wellness”.

This workshop is geared towards the development, improvement and the equipping of God’s leaders to perform their roles and functions more proficiently for the advancement of His work. As such, all-Women’s Ministries Leaders and Assistant Leaders nominated to serve for the approaching New Year (2018) are cordially invited to attend this event.

A registration fee of one hundred dollars ($100.00), is expected to be paid by each participant, this sum will be utilized for catering and workshop material. The registration deadline is Wednesday November 22, 2017. Thank you for your continued support to the Women’s Ministries Department, your presence and participation is anticipated.

Personal Ministries and Community Services Convention/Workshop

The Personal Ministries and Community Services Departments would like to inform that the Convention/Workshop has been rescheduled to December 2, 2017. The venue will be the Grace Communion Hall located at Sunset Boulevard, Samaroo Village, Arima. The following leaders are required to attend the Convention/Workshop: Pastors, Personal Ministries Leaders, 2017 Lay Preachers and YES Leaders.

Please be reminded that there would be an Investiture Service for all new Community Services Leaders. All leaders are asked to be in their uniform.
The name of the cloth for the new uniform is Mini Matt #67 Dark Green. A bolt of cloth has $38.87 yds. The cloth may be purchased at Jimmy Aboud.
Please note the following arrangements for attending the workshop:
