New officers elected for the Conference
The recently concluded 41st Session of the South Caribbean Conference climaxed with the instillation of a new team of officers to take God’s local church into the next quadrennium. At the helm of leadership is Pastor Wayne Andrews, assisted by Pastor Paul Philbert as Secretary and Pastor Donnie Balgobin as Treasurer.
Pastor Andrews, addressing the delegates stated,- “It’s only because of His Grace; I’m awed by this opportunity to serve you, our church and South Caribbean Conference in Trinidad. I want you to be clear with me on this, throughout this session I have been asking for one thing- Lord only for your will to be done. I did not ask for this but He has laid it on me and I am willing to take up the challenge….
I pray that the same God who has been leading us here through His Holy Spirit, will continue to lead us as we lead God’s Church forward ever into Spiritual Revolution, God bless us all”.
The moving of God’s Holy Spirit was indeed felt as leaders were chosen for service for the 2011 – 2015 term.
